Why Choose Hearing Care of Summerville?
Dr. Beth Alberto is a licensed audiologist with a doctoral degree in her field and over 30 years of experience. She believes in treating a person like a patient not a customer and her primary goal is educating each patient about the diagnosis and treatment options specific to that individual.
In addition, Dr. Beth specializes in the management and treatment of tinnitus or ringing in the ears. She is one of only two in the state to be trained and administer the Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment and she also facilitates a monthly support group for those who experience this debilitating condition.
As a whole, the staff of Hearing Care of Summerville strives to provide the best patient care through education, compassion, and fun!
Do you feel that you have difficulties hearing? Or are you curious about possible symptoms of hearing loss? Then take this short evaluation. It’s quick, painless and easy and it could be your first step to better hearing and living life to its fullest.
This evaluation does not replace a professional hearing test but the results can indicate whether or not it may be worth seeking advice from a hearing care professional.

Help for Tinnitus
As a person who has dealt with tinnitus personally, Dr. Beth has chosen this debilitating condition as her specialty and works diligently to provide education and support to others who suffer from tinnitus. Our tinnitus patients begin with a complete assessment to determine the most appropriate method of treatment which ranges from simple homemade devices for modulating the effects of tinnitus to the Neuromonics Tinnitus Treatment, a customized medical device that matches a patient’s hearing and tinnitus profile and treats the cause of tinnitus versus the symptom of tinnitus.
In addition, for those patients who have hearing loss in addition to their tinnitus, hearing instruments are available that can effectively manage both issues. Dr. Beth also founded a support group for those who deal with tinnitus. Being able to share experiences and ideas help with management so Dr. Beth facilitates this group the third Thursday of each month to provide a forum for these meaningful exchanges.
For more information, please contact our office or fill out the form online and be sure to mention tinnitus.
